Position Overview:
The Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Senior Director for Operations and assists with the daily functions of the administrative area.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assists Senior Director for Operations in daily operational functions.
- Manage reception area with basic knowledge of the varying functions in the office which includes submitting work order requests and/or directing to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain office protocol by creating a welcoming atmosphere answering phones opening/sorting mail and reviewing correspondence.
- Provide general support services which includes proof-reading ordering supplies processing forms and check requests and greeting guests.
- Perform monthly credit card reconciliation daily invoice processing check requests purchase orders and basic accounting assistance.
- Serve as a liaison between students and student accident insurance company.
- Assists with the management of off-campus tenant housing.
- Process student organization fundraising requests.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned.

- Ability to work professionally and courteously with the public faculty staff and students
- Exceptional administrative skills
- College degree preferred with related business clerical experience
- Good communication skills
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel
- Well-developed organizational skills verbal and written communication skills and detail-oriented data entry skills
- Basic accounting skills
- Able to multi-task
- Able to maintain confidentiality of information and files
- Self-motivated able to work alone and with a team
- Able to work under pressure and be flexible
