Job Summary
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets forecasts and long-term financial plans.
- Trade Processing and Settlement: Assist in ensuring accurate and timely processing of all trades including order entry order matching trade execution and trade settlement.
- Analyze financial results and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends variances and improvement opportunities.
- Reconciliation: Assist in the daily weekly and monthly reconciliations of all accounts and transactions ensuring that all records are accurate and complete.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning and investment decisions.
Reporting & Performance Monitoring
- Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of board and investor reports.
- Conduct variance analysis between actuals budget and forecast providing clear explanations.
Data Management & Process Improvement
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in financial systems and reports.
- Streamline reporting and analysis processes through automation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights for strategic.
- Liaise with clients and external stakeholders to resolve account-related issues and provide account updates.
Decision Support & Advisory
- Provide analytical support for business cases pricing cost optimization and capital projects.
- Participate in strategic reviews and provide recommendations based on financial analysis.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with company policies accounting standards and internal controls.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Comply with all applicable laws regulations and industry standards related to stockbroking operations.
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or related field.
- Professional certification (ACA ACCA) is an advantage.
- Minimum of 1 years experience in a senior finance role.
