Job Summary

Description

As a Disbursements Admin I you will be a key contributor to the daily operations of the disbursements department. You will assist with the full cycle of ACH and check disbursements ensuring timely and accurate execution. This role demands strong attention to detail organizational skills and effective communication to coordinate with internal departments. The position is Nonexempt and reports to the Disbursements Supervisor and Controller of Technical Accounting



Responsibilities
  • Manages multiple projects without having direct supervisory responsibilities.
  • Assist with the full cycle of ACH and check disbursements including invoice retrieval auditing check printing signature verification and document filing.
  • Prepare checks for mailing and inter-office delivery; communicate with internal departments regarding payment needs.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete daily tasks efficiently and meet departmental deadlines.
  • Maintain organized records and ensure proper retention of source documents.
  • Work is primarily performed in a climate-controlled office setting.
  • Requires light physical tasks such as filing and lifting documents or supplies as needed.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.



Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • Minimum of six months of relevant experience in accounts payable finance or administrative support.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication abilities.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic accounting systems preferred.
