What Youll Do:

As a vital part of our Parks Maintenance team youll help maintain and enhance OFallons parks athletic fields playgrounds pavilions lakes and green spaces. Duties include:

• Grooming and prepping athletic fields for games and tournaments
• Mowing trimming seeding and aerating turf areas
• Maintaining park restrooms pavilions and playgrounds for public safety and enjoyment
• Assisting with irrigation minor construction projects and playground inspections
• Operating equipment like mowers backhoes dump trucks and skid steers
• Supporting special events festivals and snow removal operations

What Were Looking For:

• A high school diploma or GED
• 1-3 years of experience in groundskeeping parks maintenance landscaping or similar work
• Valid Class A CDL drivers license (or the ability to obtain one). Paid CDL Training Program available to new hires that do not currently hold a CDL.
• A positive attitude teamwork spirit and readiness to work evenings weekends and in various weather conditions
• Experience in turf management for athletic fields or golf courses is highly desirable though not required.
