Responsibilities
Internal Sales Representative
- Assist walk-in customers by providing product information quotations and recommendations.
- Process customer orders invoices and payments accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain updated knowledge of product ranges pricing and promotions.
- Handle customer inquiries complaints and follow-ups in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with the warehouse and dispatch team to ensure timely deliveries.
- Maintain clean and well-organized displays and stock areas.
External Sales Representative
- Visit existing and potential customers (contractors builders and retailers) to promote hardware products and secure new business.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat sales.
- Identify new sales opportunities and prepare quotations and proposals.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and report on market trends competitor activities and customer needs.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at trade shows exhibitions and client meetings.
Key Skills
- Excellent communication negotiation and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic POS or ERP systems.
- Self-motivated target-driven and able to work under minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 3 years experience in sales preferably within the hardware or building materials industry.
- Strong product knowledge of hardware tools and construction materials.
