Job Description

Job Title: Senior Director Supply Chain
Job Location: Sterling VA
Job Type: Full Time

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement long-term supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals.

  • Manage and optimize supply chain processes including transportation warehousing and inventory management.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing operations and sales teams to align production schedules with demand forecasts.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and operational execution.

  • Oversee sourcing strategies for raw materials packaging and indirect goods.

  • Monitor logistics performance metrics identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards.

  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships meeting quality cost and delivery targets.

  • Ensure supply chain activities comply with regulatory and industry standards including food safety.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in cost reduction material planning and supply chain integration.

  • Provide leadership mentorship and direction to supply chain teams.

  • Collaborate with finance quality assurance and operations teams to optimize supply chain performance.

  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics Business Administration or a related field.

  • Minimum of 7 years experience in supply chain/logistics management with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles logistics and procurement best practices.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems regulatory compliance and quality standards.

  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans and drive operational improvements.

  • Analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
