The Department of Natural Resources Support Services Divisionis recruiting for a Procurement Specialist 3 in Anchorage.
This position is open to Alaska Residents only.

What You Will Be Doing:
This position supports DNR in accomplishing its mission by performing regular and complex procurements and contract administration in accordance with the State of Alaska Procurement Code and DNR policies and procedures. DNRs mission is to develop conserve and maximize the use of Alaskas natural resources consistent with the public interest. This position will work as part of a four-person team that is part of a large department responsible for a wide variety of activities projects and programs. This position is important as it provides critical procurement duties necessary to support the goals and objectives of DNRs divisions. The core responsibilities include procurement activities for various types of goods and services contract administration preparing requests for alternate procurement for review and approval investigating analyzing recommending taking action on protests appeals procurement/contract disputes and vendor compliance issues and facilitating procurement meetings with project managers and stakeholders.Mission and Values/Culture:

Supplemental Questions
For your application to be evaluated you must answer the Supplemental Questions. The State of Alaska (SOA) utilizes four proficiency levels to measure and describe an applicants level of competence in applying certain behaviors knowledge skills and abilities to accomplish a specific task. The four proficiency levels are Mastery Fluency Literacy and Discovery. You must rate your proficiency level for each competency listed in the supplemental questions.
Education
If post-secondary education is required to meet the minimum qualifications you must fill out the Education section of the application.
