Job Summary:
As a Cluster Learning & Development Manager you will be a key ambassador for both the Accor brand and the People & Culture department. You will lead the learning culture across a group of hotels ensuring alignment with Accors values mission and service promises. This role is responsible for driving the Learning & Development strategy designing and implementing engaging training programs and supporting leaders and colleagues to reach their full potential.
You will collaborate closely with hotel leadership teams to ensure training is embedded into daily operations driving performance service excellence and colleague engagement across the cluster.
*The cluster role will be divided between the properties in Makkah and Jeddah covering the following hotels: ibis and adagio Jeddah City Center as well as Mercure Makkah Al Azizia and ibis Styles Makkah.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Brand & Culture Ambassador
- Act as an approachable friendly and supportive presence within the hotels.
- Foster an engaging inclusive and service-oriented environment for all colleagues.
- Promote and role model Accors Values Mission and Service Promises through daily interactions and training initiatives.
2. Learning & Development Strategy
- Develop implement and drive the Cluster L&D strategy aligned with Accor and hotel-specific goals.
- Ensure learning initiatives support business objectives enhance service quality and contribute to colleague engagement and retention.
3. Training Needs Analysis & Program Development
- Partner with hotel leaders and departmental trainers to identify learning needs through performance metrics colleague feedback and operational reviews.
- Design tailored learning solutions that address both technical and soft skill requirements.
4. Program Delivery & Facilitation
- Facilitate all Accor standard training programs (e.g. Heartist Leadership Brand Orientation).
- Create and deliver structured monthly quarterly and annual training plans for all departments.
- Oversee departmental onboarding and welcoming programs to ensure consistency and alignment across the cluster.
5. Communication & Coordination
- Communicate all training programs and updates to relevant stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate training logistics including scheduling attendance materials and venues across multiple hotel locations.
6. Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback assessments and performance indicators.
- Implement continuous improvement plans based on data and feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
7. Talent Development & Succession Planning
- Support the identification and development of high-potential talent and future leaders.
- Collaborate with Talent & Culture and department heads to implement career development initiatives.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 35 years in a Learning & Development or HR leadership role preferably in hospitality or service industries.
- Experience working in a cluster or multi-property environment is an advantage.
- Strong facilitation presentation and coaching skills.
- Deep understanding of adult learning principles and training best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across properties with flexibility and efficiency.
- Familiarity with Accor training systems and programs (e.g. Heartist LEAD MyLearning) is a plus.
