Job Summary

Hogan Lovells is seeking a detail-oriented professional with legal billing experience to join our team as a Client Account Specialist (CAS). In this role youll manage the full billing and collections cycle for a portfolio of client matters working closely with lawyers and clients to ensure accuracy compliance and timely invoicing.

This is a full-time position with core hours Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. or 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. including one hour for lunch. Flexibility for additional hours and occasional travel may be required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage billing and collections from engagement through payment
  • Ensure compliance with client billing guidelines and fee arrangements
  • Prepare and submit accurate invoices and eBills
  • Collaborate with attorneys clients and internal teams
  • Monitor billing trends and prepare forecasts and reports
  • Troubleshoot eBilling issues and follow up on collections
  • Contribute to process improvements and team collaboration

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three (3) years of experience in legal billing eBilling and/or account management
  • Law firm or professional services experience preferred
  • Bachelors degree in accounting finance or business (or equivalent experience)
  • Familiarity with eBilling platforms (e.g. TyMetrix CounselLink LegalTracker)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Spanish language skills a plus

The annualized salary range for this position is $70000 to $90000 depending on the candidates overall experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary addition full time employees as well as some part time employees will be eligible for the firms fringe benefits as they currently exists.
