Job Description

Position : Customer Service Representative

Work Hours (Client) : Pacific Time hours with the flexibility to start your day anytime between 810 AM.

Pay Range : $900 - $1000 USD/month(varies based on skill set and experience level)

Location of Search : Philippines South Africa

Work Location : REMOTE

Type of Contract : Independent Contractor

Duties and Responsibilities:

Were looking for a Customer Service Representative who is both customer-friendly and technically this role youll act as a bridge between customers and our technical teamtranslating technical language into plain easy-to-understand explanations.

Most support will be through chat and email (95%) with occasional calls or screen shares when needed. The ideal candidate is proactive in troubleshooting tries to resolve issues before escalating and knows how to balance technical accuracy with customer-friendly communication.

  • Provide timely professional support via chat and email with occasional calls (small percentage).
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and attempt resolution before escalating.
  • Translate technical jargon into simple customer-friendly language.
  • Escalate to the technical team only when necessary with clear context.
  • Use Intercom for customer support Notion for internal documentation and an in-house CRM system.
  • Identify recurring issues contribute to knowledge base content and improve customer experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Language requirement: Excellent English Communication Skills

Education: Bachelors Degree (ideally)

Experience: 3 years of related experience

  • Proven customer-facing support experience with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Technical support background: comfortable with troubleshooting and first-level resolution not just ticket handoff.
  • Experience using CRM or helpdesk tools (Zendesk Intercom) non-negotiable
  • HubSpot Salesforce Pipedrive experience required
  • Strong written and spoken English with the ability to explain solutions in clear simple terms. (minimal accent is fineclarity matters most.)
  • Comfortable with technical language while knowing how to translate it for non-technical users.
  • Proactive resourceful and capable of independent work within a distributed team.
  • Learns processes quickly without requiring step-by-step written documentation demonstrating adaptability and resourcefulness.
