About the Role
What Youll Do & The Impact Youll Have
- Design and implement backend systems following OOP and clean architecture principles.
- Build secure authentication flows including OAuth2 and token refresh mechanisms.
- Work with ORMs such as Prisma or SQLAlchemy for database interactions.
- Develop containerize and deploy applications using Docker and CI pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions).
- Implement observability with logging and tracing for APIs.
- Leverage AWS services such as S3 RDS and Secrets Manager.
- Apply deployment security best practices across environments.
- Communicate effectively with frontend DevOps and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable solutions.
Requirements
What Youll Bring to the Table
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong understanding of OOP and clean architecture principles
- Experience implementing authentication flows (OAuth2 token refresh)
- Proficiency with ORMs like Prisma or SQLAlchemy
- Experience with Docker and CI pipelines (e.g. GitHub Actions)
- Implements observability: logging and tracing for APIs
- Familiar with AWS services: S3 RDS Secrets Manager
- Solid understanding of deployment security practices
- Strong communication with frontend DevOps and cross-functional teams
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with asynchronous processing using Celery or Cloud Tasks
- Exposure to AWS Lambda or ECS
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus or Grafana
- Understanding of Cloud IAM roles and permission boundaries
- Implements circuit breakers and retry logic in services
