Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Engineer to join our team and help shape data-driven solutions that power strategic decision-making. You will design and maintain scalable pipelines ensure data quality and performance and collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
- Design build and optimise robust and scalable data pipelines in the cloud
- Monitor and improve data workflows ensuring high availability performance and quality
- Perform peer code reviews and validate data pipelines to maintain best practices
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver reliable and efficient data solutions
- Support dashboard performance and troubleshoot data issues in collaboration with end-users
- Contribute to the evolution of data engineering frameworks tools and methodologies
Qualifications :
Education
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems or a related field
Experience
- Proven track record in data engineering projects preferably in agile environments
- Experience in designing building and optimising data pipelines in the cloud
- Hands-on experience with code reviews validation processes and dashboard optimisation
Know-How
- High proficiency in Python and SQL
- Extensive knowledge of PySpark
- Experience with Azure Databricks is highly valued
- Strong understanding of software development principles (e.g. SOLID clean code)
- Ability to monitor troubleshoot and improve performance of data workflows
Languages
- Portuguese: Fluent (spoken and written)
- English: Fluent (spoken and written)
- Additional languages will be considered a plus
