You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailA Software Engineer QA at IFS will have a background in quality assurance processes and methodologies and work with all aspects of quality assurance throughout the entire software development process. They are involved in ensuring that quality is considered early in the design process so that the product will be testable later.
A Software Engineer QA works with both the QA Leader and development team to ensure all aspects of testing support and test coverage are included in the testing plans. They monitor every phase of the development process to ensure that the design and software adhere to company standards.
Someone in this role should also have a thorough understanding of QA testing environments and software development life cycles. They help meet sprint deadlines by breaking up the development process into attainable testing goals and relaying any issues back to the development and product teams or leaders.

Responsibilities:
Mandatory Skills for Senior Software Engineer - QA and Software Engineer - QA
-Proficient knowledge in:C#/.NET (backend testing) Angular (basic UI validation). SQL (querying and data validation)
-Good understanding of TDD principles and willingness to apply them in collaborative development environments.
-Experienced in designing and building automated test workflows and test cases.
-Hands-on experience with: Selenium (UI automation); SpecFlow Gherkin (BDD frameworks); NUnit Cucumber (automated scripting) Visual Studio (IDE for test development) Entity Framework (database testing)
-Competent in executing manual test cases writing automated scripts and validating testable code within complex systems.
-Awareness of performance testing tools and concepts with a readiness to contribute to performance evaluations.--Proven ability to develop and maintain clear and structured test documentation including test plans cases scripts and reports
Good-to-Have Skills
-AI & Automation Integration:
-Use of AI-assisted tools for static analysis and code quality reviews
-Familiarity with GitHub Copilot for test generation and productivity enhancement
-Automation of repetitive scripting or infrastructure tasks
-Applying AI in incident response bug detection and SDLC innovation
