We are seeking a Project Manager (Pressure Vessel Division) to lead the delivery of major vessel projects from conception through to completion. This role will see you manage resources schedules budgets and quality outcomes while working closely with our Production Team Operations Manager and clients.
As a Project Manager with Thornton Engineering you will:
Oversee and supervise vessel production to ensure safety quality and performance standards are met.
Monitor project progress against time budget and deliverables.
Provide technical guidance and support to teams.
Lead by example mentoring trade staff and developing the next generation of industry leaders.
Ensure OHS and QA systems are upheld at all times.
This is a rare opportunity to work on some of the largest and most technically demanding steel fabrication projects in Australia backed by a high-performing team and strong company culture.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent).
- Demonstrated leadership and resource management experience.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets and contracts.
- Excellent problem-solving communication and relationship-building skills.
- Intermediate computer literacy (MS Word Outlook Excel Project).
- First Aid Level 2 (desirable).
- Strumis MRP (highly desirable).
