About the Opportunity
We are hiring a hands-on OPT Recruiter who specialises in OPT/F1 and international-student hiring to build high-quality talent pipelines for US-facing engineering and product roles. This fully remote role (India-based) combines proactive sourcing compliance-aware screening and strong stakeholder partnership to close high-intent candidates quickly.
Role & Responsibilities
Own full-cycle recruitment for OPT/F1/STEM candidates: source screen coordinate interviews and drive offers to closure for US / remote engineering & product roles.
Build and maintain high-quality pipelines using Boolean search LinkedIn Recruiter GitHub and university/alumni networks targeted at international students and early-career talent.
Manage candidate experience end-to-end: timely communication interview prep feedback loops and offer negotiation to maximise acceptance rates.
Collaborate with hiring managers and recruiting leads to align role briefs prioritise requisitions and refine selection criteria based on market insights.
Ensure compliance and accurate documentation related to OPT/F1 processes start dates and visa-related constraints coordinate with legal/HR as needed.
Use ATS and recruiting metrics to track funnel health conversion rates and time-to-hire; propose process improvements to scale sourcing efficiency.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
2 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience preferably sourcing for software engineering roles or early-career talent.
Demonstrable experience working with OPT/F1/STEM candidates or strong knowledge of OPT timelines CPT constraints and employer requirements.
Advanced sourcing skills (Monster Dice Boolean searches LinkedIn Recruiter GitHub StackOverflow) and hands-on experience with an ATS (Greenhouse/Lever/Workable).
Preferred
Experience placing candidates into US-based or remotely-distributed engineering teams and coordinating across multiple time zones.
Familiarity with immigration/compliance basics employer expectations for OPT hires and experience working with HR or legal teams.
Comfort with data-driven recruiting: reporting on KPIs (time-to-fill pipeline conversion) and using those insights to optimise hiring.
