Services Manager

Managing daily operations and third-party contractors at NEXTDC facilities ensuring maintenance meets UTI Uptime Operational Sustainability Gold standards for critical equipment and delivering top-tier performance for NEXTDC. 

What youll do: 

• Mentor and support facility staff to encourage continuous performance improvement and professional development. 
• Foster a culture of ongoing feedback and recognize individual and team achievements. 
• Lead change management initiatives using the ADKAR approach. 
• Oversee maintenance and operation of critical electrical and mechanical systems ensuring contractors deliver services aligned with UTI Operational Sustainability Gold standards. 
• Participate in on-call rotations to support uptime of critical plant like chillers UPS and generators. 
• Conduct regular audits to maintain ISO certifications ensure Work Health and Safety compliance and promptly address incidents. 
• Collaborate with Sales Service Delivery and Engineering teams to ensure smooth maintenance processes and excellent customer experience. 
• Manage facility rules compliance risk identification and mitigation maintaining clear communication of responsibilities to staff and contractors. 
• Maintain up-to-date site documentation and provide ongoing technical training and competency assessments. 
• Support recruitment scheduling and development of facility staff including supervision of outsourced resources to maintain high performance and full coverage. 

About you: 

• Strong understanding of data centre operations including electrical/mechanical systems rack management design and installation. 
• Knowledge of high-density data centre power and cooling technologies. 
• Extensive experience in cabling cable management and quality assurance. 
• Familiarity with relevant codes and regulations. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and building management systems (BMS). 
• Excellent planning organization and analytical abilities. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Bahasa Malay. 

Qualifications :

• Minimum 5 years experience in data centre facilities or related maintenance roles. 
• Diploma in Electrical Telecommunications or related field. 
• Mechanical trade qualification preferably in Air Conditioning.
