Join Grabs Strategy and Planning team where we achieve growth for the GrabFood business by overseeing and ensuring platform reliability. We analyze market competition and business models to produce insights that impact Grabs business and customers. Additionally we manage the entire lifecycle of long-term Deliveries projects and growth programs from conceptualization and strategy to execution.
In this team you will be focused on developing business strategies that deliver essential everyday services and serve the community specifically by taking ownership of the GrabFood business in the Sulawesi region. Youll report directly to the GrabFood Demand Strategic & Planning Manager. You may opt to be based in Makassar or in Jakarta.
Get to Know the Role
Were looking for an Assistant Manager to lead our GrabFood Demand in Sulawesi. This important role involves promoting the success of the GrabFood business in Sulawesi by creating demand levers tailored to local insights and applying the latest features available within the company. You will be part of a lean and agile team working with several departments to achieve profitable growth and meet essential performance metrics.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Use your strong proficiency in data analysis to evaluate performance user behavior and the competitive landscape producing relevant insights that inform business strategies and make data-driven recommendations
- Create strategy forecast and manage financials targets to ensure sustainable growth and profitability on short-term and long-term demand plans focusing to provide the best solution for both merchants & customers growth
- Collaborate with teams from Sales and Business Development Marketing Merchant Operations Product and other departments to align and achieve shared goals and deliverables.
Qualifications :
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- A minimum of a bachelors degree in STEM Management Business or other relevant degree is required.
- Have at least 3 years experience in strategic thinking at leading management consulting firms and/or tech/ecommerce companies with the ability to analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities and threats.
- Proficient in engaging and influencing stakeholders at all different levels of the organisation to lead strategy adoption.
- Proficiency in SQL Python and spreadsheet software is necessary (experience with Google Sheets and App Script is an added advantage) and able to identify main causes and create applicable strategies from data insights
- Demonstrate business level proficiency in both written and spoken English.
- Willing to be a team player and collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds and responsibilities.
