Job Summary
Title:
Lead Cost EngineerJob Responsibilities:
- Monitor forecast control and report projectcosts.
- Develop and implement all routinecostreports regularly reviewcostreports with budget holders to ensure understanding update estimates and discuss problem areas.
- Support financial processes as required including contract progress invoicing payments cash flows etc.
- Develop and provide project variances trending analysis of expenditures and completion reports.
- Review projectcosts incurred by category calculate futurecosts based on labor productivity material price increases subcontract wage rates and risk analysis.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in any Engineering Discipline.
- Minimum 10 years ofcostmanagement experience with at least 5 years of leadcostexperience within the Oil and Gas business.
- Thorough knowledge ofcostbudgeting monitoring forecasting andcostperformance indicators.
- Proactive and possess good interpersonal skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with SAP will be an added advantage.
