Software Development Manager, Prime Video, Living Room Device Services

Join us in revolutionizing the future of Living Room device testing at Prime Video. Living Room Device Services (LRDS) enables automated testing across 800 living room device types globally through our Device Farm infrastructure providing programmatic control and remote access for Amazon teams worldwide. Youll manage the team that develops AI-powered tools and AWS-based solutions that simplify test debugging device access and performance evaluation across our distributed device ecosystem.

Youll be at the forefront of building solutions for our Device Farm - a unique and sophisticated platform that enables automated testing across more than 800 devices across the hyper fragmented Living Room EcoSystem.

Your impact will extend beyond just writing code - youll be the bridge between our Device Farm customers and innovation gathering valuable feedback and transforming it into enhanced features. Working with AWS technologies youll orchestrate a robust ecosystem of physical devices and virtual emulators ensuring Prime Video delivers exceptional experiences to our Living Room Customers.

- 7 years of engineering experience
- 3 years of engineering team management experience
- 8 years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience
- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing certification and livesite operations
- Experience partnering with product or program management teams
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems

- Experience in communicating with users other technical teams and senior leadership to collect requirements describe software product features technical designs and product strategy
- Experience in recruiting hiring mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and make them more effective product software engineers
- Knowledge of working with devices
- Experience of testing platforms frameworks and best practices
