The role
We are hiring a Marketing Director to build an integrated omnichannel marketing engine that connects digital social and offline marketing. You will wear different marketing hats lead a small but mighty team and create network effects around the brand. You do not need to be a deep SEO expert but you should speak the language brief specialists well and know how to hire and when needed part ways.
What you will lead
- An omnichannel strategy that blends SEO PPC paid social organic social email SMS PR partnerships and field marketing. Hiring effective team members.
- Integrated campaigns that move a customer from first touch to booked clean to referral.
- Guerrilla and offline marketing that create buzz in local markets.
- Our franchise marketing journey including toolkits launch playbooks and local market support.
What you will do
- Design quarterly integrated plans with clear objectives budgets and channel roles.
- Orchestrate full-funnel programs: awareness engagement conversion and retention.
- Ship creative experiments: pop-up 5-minute clean activations door hanger QR tests campus and condo ambassador pilots local sponsor swaps and neighbourhood challenge drives.
- Build lifecycle marketing: welcome pre-service post-service win-back and referral flows across email and SMS.
- Partner with Ops to scale review generation loyalty and membership offers.
- Stand up reporting that ties spend to booked jobs and repeat rate.
- Recruit coach and hold accountable a team across content paid social SEO and partnerships. Manage agencies only where they add leverage.
- Create a franchise marketing toolkit: local landing templates GBP and LSA setup checklists outreach scripts local PR angles co-op guidelines and KPI dashboards.
- Collaborate on brand storytelling that resonates with both clients and cleaners.
What you bring
- 6 years leading omnichannel or integrated marketing for a service or franchise brand.
- Track record driving revenue not only impressions.
- Comfortable planning across SEO PPC paid social organic social email and offline.
- Working knowledge of SEO to brief and evaluate specialists.
- Strong grasp of CRM attribution and automation.
- Creative scrappy and people-first leadership style.
- Experience hiring coaching and holding a team to goals.
How success is measured
- Lift in qualified leads and cost per booked job trending down.
- Social reach and engagement growing with content that sparks shares and UGC.
- Review velocity and average rating up through structured programs.
- Email and SMS flows that drive repeat bookings and referrals.
- Franchise markets launching with a repeatable playbook and on-time KPIs.
- Clear dashboards that the CEO and Ops can use to make decisions.
First 90 days
- Audit channels spend creative and analytics.
- Ship one integrated campaign in two core cities that ties digital social and a field activation.
- Launch lifecycle basics: welcome post-clean review and referral.
- Hire or reassign for the highest leverage gaps.
Details & Compensation:
- Full time permanent onsite (Kitchener-Waterloo based preferred).
- Competitive salary range ($85000$100000 depending on experience).
