Team and Job Overview:
The position of Principal Project Management will report to the Director Enterprise Orchestration & Project Management and will manage the initial phase of EDCs Corporate Functions Transformation a strategic program aimed at aligningFinance Human Resources (HR) Procurement and elements ofIT/Project Spend Managementunder a single new ERP Technology Platform.
This transformation is designed to modernize core business functions enhance operational efficiency and unlock enterprise-wide value through coordinated design governance and execution. A key enabler will be the selection and implementation of a new cross functional ERP system.
Focus Areas of the program include:
The role of the Principal is to plan execute and finalize multiple phases of work. These phases are effectively cross-functional business projects supporting the broader program ranging in complexity which contribute to achieving the strategy of the enterprise. The first phase will be to provide project management support on a large technology RFP. This role will support executive sponsors in strategy development problem solving and building-out the governance for initiatives planning for and acquiring resources (including subject matter experts contractors consultants service delivery partners third party vendors) and coordinating the efforts of team members and resources in order to deliver projects according to plan and expectations.
To be successful in this role the individual will need a blend of corporate functions knowledge strong program and project management skills technical understanding and preferably previous experience with Enterprise Resource Platform systems. The role will require collaboration with both business sponsors/leads and IT groups to ensure that the objectives and workstreams align with requirements risks are mitigated defined outcomes are achieved and benefits are realized.
