Job Title: Registered Nurse Wound Care (Contract)
Location: Brooklyn NY
Contract Duration:3 Month
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Monday Friday 40 hours per week
osition Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Wound Care Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team on a contract assignment. The RN will be responsible for assessing planning and implementing wound care treatment plans collaborating with physicians and healthcare staff and ensuring the delivery of safe effective and compassionate care to patients.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive wound assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Provide specialized wound care treatments including dressing changes negative pressure wound therapy and infection control measures.
Educate patients and families on wound care management and prevention.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in medical records.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Adhere to hospital policies nursing standards and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State (required).
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in wound care preferred.
Certification in Wound Care (WCC CWON or equivalent) preferred but not required.
Strong clinical assessment critical thinking and patient care skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Schedule & Compensation:
Contract:3 months (with possible extension).
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Monday Friday.
Hours per Week: 40.
