Job Summary

Administrative Assistant (Main Office & Special Education Support)Were looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our creative team of educators and this full-time role youll help keep our school running smoothly by providing clerical and organizational support in the main office while also assisting our Special Education team with scheduling and position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic school environment values strong communication and organization and is eager to support students families and staff in meaningful ways. Youll report to the Head of School and collaborate closely with office staff teachers and the Student Support Year: 195 daysSchedule: MondayFriday school hours (8am-4pm)Preferred QualificationsBachelors degree or equivalentFamiliarity with IEP processes and special education documentationDemonstrated experience supporting special education compliance student services coordination or IEP meeting facilitationExperience working in a school or educational settingStrong understanding of the organizational and communication demands of special education service deliveryWhat You BringStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentialityComfort interacting with students families and staffA collaborative mindset and willingness to step in where neededCommitment to equity kindness and respect in all interactionsWhat Youll DoAssist with scheduling and clerical preparation for IEP meetings IEP meeting facilitation Maintain organized student records and documentationProvide clerical and operational support for the main office (phones attendance filing supplies)Support all administrative tasks related to standardized testingGreet and assist families staff and visitors with professionalism and warmthAssist with substitute coordination and school logisticsProvide classroom or recess coverage when requiredAdditional ResponsibilitiesSupport staff with communications and data tracking as neededHelp maintain orderly office systems and suppliesParticipate in occasional training or meetings related to student support and office operationsWhat We ValueWere a K8 charter school committed to experiential learning the arts and student voice.
