AusBiz Consulting is looking for exceptional ICT Business Analysts to join our team.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with the business and non-technical users to identify business/operational pain points elicit and analyse requirements investigate and analyse business/operating procedures
Formulate and document the business requirements based on the analysis of current business processes and procedures document AS-IS and TO-Be Processes and identify opportunities for automation.
Liaise between the business and technology teams to facilitate business-IT alignment and aid in an evidence-based decision-making process
Collaborate with the stakeholders (developer/ product manager/ etc.) to identify evaluate and recommend software solutions
Develop detailed functional requirement specifications document using epics and user stories
Work together with the UI designers to create and review the UI designs in-line with the system specifications
Communicate the software requirements to the development & QA team during requirement walkthroughs and planning sessions
Create clear system specifications through the use of use case diagrams data/process modelling flowcharts or other UMLs for the development of the system
Document and Perform user acceptance testing to ensure the software developed is in line with the requirements of acceptable quality and plan deployment cycles
Analyse systems to facilitate third-party integrations
Identify gaps and inefficiencies and suggest improvements in process or functional specifications of the system
Work with a team in an Agile environment to implement best practices and timely deliverables to ensure the project is being delivered on time and within the specified budget
Create and maintain the necessary training/onboarding documentation and conduct training sessions for new team members/customers
Requirements
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in IT/IS
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of full-time experience working as a Business Analyst/ Product Analyst/ Product Manager or other similar roles
Skills:
Experienced in writing detailed clear and consistent functional requirement specifications using Epics and User stories
Demonstrated ability to prioritize business requirements
Hands-on experience creating systems specifications using UML
Experienced working with Power BI and Microsoft technologies
Strong understanding of databases and ability to write SQL queries
Knowledge of backend and frontend technologies
Knowledge and understanding of responsive designs and systems
Strong understanding of cloud architecture
Experienced working in AgileScrum development methodology
Hands-on experience using JIRA and Confluence
Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and work in a dynamic team environment
Strong communication skills (verbal and non-verbal)
