About the role

The Business Development Representative will play a crucial role in researching and reaching out to potential leads contributing to the growth and expansion of AMPECOs market presence.

Your contribution

    • Research key industry stakeholders trends specifics and opportunities;
    • Research and identify potential leads to understand their business model needs;
    • Build a custom approach that identifies the main challenges and missed opportunities per account;
    • Contact outbound opportunities via LinkedIn email or phone(rarely);
    • Lead thoughtful conversations to guide clients towards a meeting with Ampeco and build long-term relationships;
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the industry our platform and solutions;
    • Work closely with the sales team to strategise and execute business development plans per account;
    • Attend industry events and represent AMPECO by networking and promoting our brand and product.

Your profile

    • 2 years of proven experience in lead research lead generation and outbound sales or market research and business management consulting for SaaS products;
    • Previous experience with complex software products;
    • Strong interest in Growth Hacking Boolean Searches Automation Market Research and Outbound Sales;
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
    • Self-driven and analytical with attention to detail;
    • Willingness to travel internationally if required. The whole sales organisation travels to 50 events per year to meet prospects;
    • Fluency in English. Other languages are considered a plus.

Who you are

    • You do not believe in the spray-and-pray approach in most outbound positions;
    • You either have experience with outbound sales but want to further improve your skills and develop towards high-level sales roles in the future;
    • OR you have experience in client-facing roles and you have worked in the SaaS Energy Venture Capital Management Consulting or similar industries but you want to transition to sales;
    • Your moral dictates that you should not be lying to people in order to make a sale;
    • You want to focus on growth and developing your skills;
    • You want to explore and learn automation technologies and sales practices that are at the forefront of current industry development;
    • You aim at tackling very high-level sales roles in the future develop a broad skill set and entrepreneurial thinking to help you in your own ventures.

Considered an advantage

    • Experience in building outreach sequences or leading sales calls;
    • Experience in enterprise software solutions;
    • Experience in the Energy Venture Capital Management Consulting or similar industries;
    • Experience with Clay Make Zapier PhantomBuster LinkedIn Helper Airtable and Hubspot or similar tools for prospecting and automation;
    • Fluency in French German or Spanish.

    • Learn from experts with entrepreneurial mindset and grow in an industry that will continue to be highly sought after in the next 15 years;
    • At no point will you be left to just find a way on your own. You will be guided and enabled by the Head of Research and Lead Generation team but also the Sales and Marketing teams to meet your targets and improve your personal communication and tool-related skills.
