Job Descriptions:
- Coordinate audit activities across PHKL and PGHK covering both Group/ local EV and IFRS reporting.
- Serve as the primary liaison between external auditors and internal reporting teams to manage audit scope progress and timelines.
- Provide insights on accounting and actuarial initiatives from an audit perspective
- Prepare audit findings recommendations and presentation materials for senior management and board
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholdersprimarily the Actuarial and Finance (A&F) teamsto ensure alignment and consistency in submissions to auditors.
- Manage the logistics and coordination of PHKL governance forums including the Board Audit Committee and Accounting Technical Forum.
- Lead or support cross-functional business initiatives such as strategic projects and business planning subject to capacity.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in an accounting or actuarial related field
Over 8 years of experience in the insurance finance industry
Over 3 years of financial services audit experience. Experience with a major firm is preferred
Knowledge of IFRS 17
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of accounting software (e.g. SAP SUN GL)
Knowledge of database management tool (e.g. SQL Alteryx)
