Internal Secondment Opportunity Technical Officer iCare Claim Operations(12 months)

Location: Sydney

We have an exciting 12-month secondment opportunity for a Technical Officer to join our iCare Claim Operationsteam in Sydney. This role plays a key part in supporting our operations uplifting capability and driving continuous improvement.

About the role

As Technical Officer youll be responsible for ensuring quality service delivery by maintaining procedures supporting training and coaching and administering our quality frameworks. Youll also partner with leaders and business improvement teams to strengthen processes and provide escalation support for more complex issues.

What youll be doing

  • Allocate workload and support the development of team members
  • Maintain SOPs across onshore and offshore processes
  • Provide an escalation point for complex queries and complaints
  • Lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives UAT and quality frameworks
  • Undertake internal audits and support external audit processes
  • Collaborate with leaders on operational tasks projects and change initiatives
  • Promote a collaborative high-performing team culture aligned with Suncorp values

  • Experience coaching training and supporting team members
  • A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to design and implement new processes
  • Strong knowledge of operational processes frameworks and regulatory requirements
