Applicants should possess a Bachelors degree or above in Social Sciences Nursing Psychology Statistics or other healthcare-related disciplines preferably with experience in counselling and the knowledge of statistical analysis. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese; and good interpersonal and organizational skills. They should also be responsible; highly motivated; and able to work independently and in a team. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Those with higher qualifications and/or relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I.
The appointee will assist the Principal Investigator in coordinating ongoing research projects related to smoking cessation alcohol control tobacco control policy or primary health care. He/She will also assist in participant recruitment; tracking project progress; and performing data management and analysis and other duties as assigned. On-the-job training related to research and statistical methods will be provided. Irregular working hours may be required occasionally.
