Job Description:

As Head of Finance youll take full ownership of the companys financial operations. Youll lead a team oversee financial planning and compliance and ensure financial stability across all business units. Your work will directly influence decision-making and long-term strategy.

Your daily adventures include:

Leading and mentoring the finance team fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
Overseeing day-to-day financial operations across all entities.
Managing cash flow payments and debt collection to ensure stability.
Acting as the primary contact with banking partners auditors and tax authorities.
Driving accurate and timely month-end close reconciliations and management reporting.
Overseeing payroll VAT statutory returns and compliance filings.
Providing financial modelling and insights to support executive decisions.
Partnering with business units to analyse performance and resolve operational issues.
Supporting long-term growth through forecasting scenario planning and risk management.
Ensuring customer experience excellence in billing and finance-related interactions.

Requirements

What it takes to succeed:

BCom (Hons) in Accounting Science (essential).
Registered Chartered Accountant (SAICA).
7 years post-articles finance experience including 2 years in management.
Exposure to e-commerce fintech or technology-driven businesses advantageous.
Proven track record in financial management compliance and team leadership.
Experience with Sage Intacct considered an advantage.
