Description

SUMMARY:

The HR Business Partner provides HR expertise on people related issues such as Employee & Labor Relations Coaching & Development Conflict Management and Training.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Work with management and staff to resolve conflicts and help facilitate positive employee relations maintain a good working environment build morale and minimize unwanted turnover.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues including union grievance investigations.
  • Maintains and updates documents in Oracle HRIS.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures collective bargaining requirements and employment/labor laws.
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructurings workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Identifies training needs for business units and individual employee coaching needs.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • 3 years of experience as a HR generalist or HRBP.
  • Bachelors degree in HR or a related field.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification (preferred).
  • Proficient with Oracle (preferred).

COMPENSATION:

  • $60000 to $75000
  • Bi-Weekly Pay Dates
