DescriptionSUMMARY:
The HR Business Partner provides HR expertise on people related issues such as Employee & Labor Relations Coaching & Development Conflict Management and Training.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Work with management and staff to resolve conflicts and help facilitate positive employee relations maintain a good working environment build morale and minimize unwanted turnover.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues including union grievance investigations.
- Maintains and updates documents in Oracle HRIS.
- Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures collective bargaining requirements and employment/labor laws.
- Provides guidance and input on business unit restructurings workforce planning and succession planning.
- Identifies training needs for business units and individual employee coaching needs.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- 3 years of experience as a HR Generalist (REQUIRED).
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification (preferred).
- Experience with Oracle (preferred).
COMPENSATION:
- $60000 to $75000
- Bi-Weekly Pay Dates
