Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for employees HR related questions and concerns.

  • Administer HR policies procedures and ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle including recruitment onboarding terminations offboarding and exit interviews.
  • Support recruitment efforts: posting jobs scheduling interviews conducting reference checks and coordinating new hire paperwork.
  • Administer benefits programs including enrollments employee communications and vendor coordination.
  • Partner with management on employee relations issues coaching and performance improvement.
  • Maintain accurate employee files HRIS records and compliance documentation.
  • Contribute to HR programs and initiatives that support engagement retention and organizational goals.
  • Coordinate and track compliance training certifications and workplace safety requirements.
  • Prepare reports and analysis on HR metrics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee payroll processing timekeeping and tracking of contingent labor hours.
  • Administer unemployment insurance (UI) claims and respond to agency requests.
  • Conduct and document workplace investigations in accordance with policies.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field preferred; relevant experience may substitute for education.

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR generalist experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.
  • Highly organized detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Proven experience in benefits administration payroll compliance tracking and unemployment claims.
