Job Summary

Fixed Term Band D
36 hours per week - 39 weeks per year

The Governing Body of Holy Cross Catholic Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly organised Administrative Officer to join the busy school office of our friendly and welcoming school community.

This is a key role at the heart of our school and we are looking for someone who can combine excellent organisational skills with a warm professional approach.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

Previous office experience (essential)

Strong numeracy literacy and ICT skills

Excellent communication and organisational skills

The ability to manage diverse tasks adapt to changing priorities and work to deadlines

A high level of professionalism discretion and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include:

Being the first point of contact in the school office providing a welcoming reception for visitors while ensuring security procedures are always followed

Managing pupil admissions and maintaining the school information management system (SIMS)

Communicating with parents both verbally and in writing using our school app

Monitoring and analysing pupil attendance data

Cash handling and supporting the finance function

Providing general administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the school.
