Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design implement and maintain scalable and efficient Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines in Azure DevOps.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform ARM templates or Bicep.
Cloud Management: Administer and optimize Azure resources including VMs storage networking and security.
Monitoring and Alerts: Implement monitoring logging and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor Application Insights and Log Analytics.
Automation: Automate routine tasks and processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Collaboration: Work with development QA and operations teams to ensure smooth and secure deployment workflows.
Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud environments comply with organizational and industry security standards.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve system and deployment issues across development testing and production environments.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Azure and DevOps trends recommending new tools and processes to enhance team efficiency.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Technical Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with Azure DevOps tools and services.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform ARM templates or Bicep.
Expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines for various application types.
Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services including Virtual Machines AKS App Services Azure Functions and Azure Storage.
Familiarity with scripting and programming languages: PowerShell Bash Python or similar.
Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (AKS preferred).
Knowledge of monitoring tools like Azure Monitor Application Insights and Prometheus.
Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
Understanding of security best practices for cloud infrastructure.
Experience:
35 years of hands-on experience in DevOps engineering or a related field.
Experience in managing Azure cloud infrastructure and services.
Previous experience in Agile/Scrum development environments is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and aspartofateam.
