JOB TITLE: Systems Engineer - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Grand Prairie TX
PAY RATE: $78.80/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance Required to start.

Location: Hybrid contractor may work partially remote but must be available to come onsite when needed (classified lab access required).

Summary:
-
Collaborate with interdisciplinary subject-matter experts to analyze and document system requirements in DOORS.
-
Assist with system architecture analysis using Cameo to capture use cases interfaces timing and design tradeoffs.

Capture and maintain verification artifacts to support Functional Configuration Audits (FCA).
-
Support development integration and verification activities across system lifecycle.
Requirements:
-
Active Secret Clearance Required to start.
-
Bachelor s degree in Aerospace Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science/Software Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or other STEM field.

3 years hands-on experience with DOORS.
-
3 years hands-on experience with Cameo (or similar MBSE tools).
-
Familiarity with system design concepts architecture tradeoffs and verification processes.

Willingness and ability to work onsite in a classified lab environment when required.

Familiarity with missile system fundamentals and DoD/ IAMD missile system projects preferred.

Desire to learn missile ground system and fire-control theory and operation.

Experience with C MATLAB or Python is a plus.

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
