A leader in the Electrical Engineering field is seeking an experienced Branch Managerto join their team in Port Elizabeth. The main purpose of this position is to generate sales and manage customer satisfaction with the product for the regional area of responsibility. The Branch manager is responsible to manage the branch staff office warehouse and assets to ensure that revenue operating cost profitability and strategic objectives are achieved.
The duties of this position entail (Not limited to):
Responsible for the overall management of the Port Elizabeth Branch
Responsible for all staff recruitment
Motivate staff
Conduct Monthly and Weekly staff meetings
Provide Technical and product training
Manage office facilities infrastructure and inventory to ensure necessary service delivery to
customers
Check repairs modifications and goods returned
Ensure stock control and the recording of new stock are in line with company procedures.
Manage regular stock take events to ensure minimum requirements are met.
Manage Branch to ensure Branch objectives are achieved each year including revenue
operating cost profitability relative to budget and strategic goals.
Manage accounts to ensure a coordinated approach to selling and ensure the provision of
accurate monthly revenue forecast by Branch
Provide Branch input to the annual budgetary process.
Provide customers with full-service solutions
Establish sound relationships with key strategic accounts
Arrange and conduct product demonstrations presentations and exhibitions and product
problems as well as monitor competitors
Follow up clients and prospective clients
Conduct market research as and when required by management.
Prepare monthly productivity reports for the Branch and other various reports as required by
management
Participate in the personnel process for branch staff including but not limited to hiring
supervision and evaluation of staff performance and identification of staff training needs.
Conduct other reasonable business-related duties as delegated by management.
Adhere and comply with ISO Management system.
In order to be considered for this role you must meet the following requirements:
Matric
Post matric electrical or commercial qualification is an advantage
At least 3 to 5 Years experience in management and the electrical motor market
Proficient in MS Office
A legal drivers licence.
