OPERATIONS DIRECTOR
At Aertssen Logistics USA Inc. were paving the future of heavy machinery logistics with innovative solutions that push the boundaries of efficiency and reliability.
After a hugely successful launch in Savannah GA the Aertssen Group is bringing its momentum to the opposite corner of the country. Within a year of opening its first US location the companys faster-than-expected growth has already necessitated an additional 250000-square-foot operations facility in the Savannah area complementing its initial 385000-square-foot USEquipment Processing Center (EPC)just a mile away. With this strong foundation established on the East Coast the company is now building on its momentum with an expansion to Tacoma Washington.

Job Type:Full-time Exempt (not overtime eligible) 100% Onsite
Pay Rate:$100000-$150000 annually monthly car allowance
Travel: Some out-of-state and overnight travel may be required

Position Summary
Aertssen Logistics USA Inc. is expandingits operations toTacoma WAand seeking an experienced results-orientedOperations Directorto be an integral part of Aertssens continued strategic growthoverseeing operational alignment and direction in its second US location.

Responsibilities
- Provides vision and leadership in strategic planning and policy development
- Manages commercial relationships contracts and client accounts
- Ensures quality and safety management systems are compliant documented thoroughly communicated and followed
- Supports and collaborates in the talent acquisition and development of Aertssens Tacoma operations associates
- Maintains and expands commercial relationships with key customers (account management/relationship management)
- Monitors legislation & regulations and guarantees necessary security concerning transport logistics and infrastructure
All this is always carried out in accordance with our companys quality environmental and health policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in business management logistics management or similar
- Prefer at least 7 years in logistics/supply chain operations leadership with port international transportation construction and or heavy equipment exposure
- Strong commercial operational and team leadership skills
- Driven by safety
- Transparent yet professional communication style
- Passion for growing successful businesses from the ground up while providing meaningful experiences and mentorship for team growth
- Demonstrated track record in strategic planning client contracts and operations leadership
- Basic knowledge of exceptional transport
- General proficiency using Warehouse Management Software (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite; strong proficiency with Excel and Word preferred
Compensation
- Salary range: $100000 $150000 annually (exempt not overtime eligible)
- Monthly car allowance provided
