Autism Center of Excellence is seeking a Clinical Director / BCBA to lead our Durham NC clinic. This high-impact role oversees clinical quality staff development and client outcomes while balancing leadership responsibilities with a reduced clinical caseload.
We offer strong administrative support well-developed systems and a $5000 relocation bonus for candidates relocating to the area.
Position Summary
- Location: Durham NC
- Setting: 100% in-clinic
- Schedule: MondayFriday
- Employment Type: Full-Time Exempt
- Compensation: $140000$160000/year (base incentives)
- Relocation Bonus: $5000
- Reports To: Regional Clinical Leadership
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership
- Ensure clinic-wide treatment integrity documentation quality and clinical excellence
- Lead clinical meetings case reviews and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex clinical needs
Team Management & Development
- Mentor and supervise BCBAs BCaBAs and RBTs/BTs
- Provide onboarding training coaching and performance support
- Review and approve treatment plans FBAs BIPs and reauthorization documentation
Family Collaboration
- Provide advanced caregiver training and progress discussions
- Support families through transitions and treatment planning
Operational Leadership
- Partner with leadership on clinic growth staffing scheduling and workflow optimization
- Support hiring culture-building and clinic-wide initiatives
- Maintain compliance with organizational state and Medicaid standards
Qualifications
Required:
- Active BCBA certification
- 45 years of BCBA experience
- Eligible for or holding NC LBA
- Demonstrated leadership communication and problem-solving skills
- Prior Clinical Director or Senior BCBA experience
- Strong clinic-based ABA experience
