The Senior Human Resources (HR) Manager will be responsible for leading the full spectrum of HR functions while also overseeing office administration and providing occasional executive support to the Managing Director (MD). This role acts as a strategic business partner while ensuring day-to-day HR and administrative excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end HR functions including talent acquisition performance management compensation & benefits training & development employee engagement and HR compliance
• Manage and mentor an HR Generalist providing guidance and oversight across HR operations and administration tasks
• Partner with the leadership team to develop people strategies aligned with business goals including succession planning and workforce development
• Handle employee relations conflict resolution and foster a positive organizational culture in line with company values
• Oversee office administration including vendor management facilities travel arrangements events and general services
• Provide occasional secretarial support to the MD (e.g. scheduling correspondence preparation of meeting materials and coordination of board-related tasks when needed)
• Ensure HR and administrative policies are up to date compliant with employment laws and communicated effectively across the organization
• Drive process improvements automation and best practices in HR and administration to support a lean and efficient setup
• Manage budgets related to HR training and office administration ensuring cost-effective solutions
Qualifications
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related discipline (HR certifications such as CIPD SHRM or equivalent preferred)
• 8–12 years of progressive HR experience with at least 3–5 years in a managerial or business partner role
• Strong background in full-spectrum HR management within lean or fast-growing organizations
• Prior experience handling both HR and office administration responsibilities is highly desirable
Technical Competencies
• In-depth knowledge of employment law HR best practices and compliance requirements in Singapore (regional experience is an advantage)
• Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems with strong Microsoft Office skills
• Familiarity with office administration processes vendor management and budgeting
Leadership & Communication
• Strong people leadership and mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and guide a small team
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and partner with senior leadership
• Demonstrated capability to balance strategic HR leadership with hands-on operational execution
• High integrity and discretion when handling confidential information
Working Conditions
• Office-based role with occasional flexibility required for urgent HR or executive matters
• May be required to work outside normal hours occasionally to support MD scheduling or urgent HR issues
