As a WarehouseTeam Leadat Caterpillar you will be responsible for helping the team provide service to the production floor. The Team Lead is a working member of the team. This position leads and supports a team of 5 to 10 people. The role of the team lead is to help team members be successful at meeting safety requirements quality levels takt time requirements and performance goals.

This shift is from 8:00p-6:00a Monday-Thursday.
Starting pay for this role is $22.35 $1.00 shift premium.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Helping train new Team Members with on the job training
Filling in for absent Team Members or other Team Leads
Help resolve issues related to safety quality velocity and cost.
Collecting data and updating metric boards as needed
Conducting Performance Improvement Dialogues at the cell level
Helping create and update Standard Work
Monitoring the process to make sure that standard work is being followed
Work safetyat ALL times and comply with safety regulations
Keep work area equipment storage area etc. clean and orderly at all times
Offer suggestions relative to improving work process procedures productivity job safety or work environment
BasicQualifications:
Minimum of 1 warehouse and/or manufacturing experience
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Previous leadership (ie: team lead supervisor etc)
Intermediate level proficiency utilizing SAP
Ability to promote a team atmosphere
Strong organizational skills including experience delegating
Strong communication skills

Summary Pay Range:
$22.35 - $29.05Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
