Description:
We are in need of a temp to assist the Warehouse Operations Team at the Midwest PDC. This position is responsible for executing daily warehouse functions while upholding lean principles and ensuring that customer commitments to more than 600 dealer locations are consistently met. The Sr. Associate is expected to lead by example maintain high standards of accuracy and efficiency and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities include:
Coordinate and manage activities in inventory control shipping and receiving ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Operate with a working knowledge of the Manhattan Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other in-house software applications
Perform administrative duties related to the shipment of finished goods including invoice verification bill of lading review and transportation coordination
Log order information file and distribute all related shipping documentation maintaining compliance with audit and accounting requirements
Partner with transportation providers to confirm shipment details resolve exceptions and maintain smooth flow throughout the delivery cycle
Ability to identify inefficiencies and eliminate waste
Actively participate in lean improvement projects supporting and sustaining standard work and best practices
Maintain open and professional communication with supervisors peers and cross-functional departments to ensure alignment and timely execution of work
Provide guidance to warehouse associates when needed modeling accountability and adherence to established safety and operational standards
