Job Title: Assistant Swim School Manager
Location: Needham MA
Position Type: Full-Time On-Site
We are seeking an energetic and hands-on Assistant Swim School Manager to oversee daily operations at a rapidly growing award-winning swim school. This role ensures the smooth running of the facility excellent customer service staff development and operational excellence across aquatics retail private parties and employee engagement initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesDirect and manage daily school operations according to standard operating procedures.
Support the General Manager and department leads in executing daily tasks efficiently.
Supervise staff to maintain high productivity strong performance and positive workplace culture.
Train and oversee the aquatics team to ensure superior swim instruction and student progress tracking.
Manage sales and marketing initiatives providing training and guidance to qualified sales staff.
Oversee retail and vending operations to ensure proper product mix and pricing.
Manage private party operations ensuring smooth execution and adherence to standard procedures.
Gain expertise in scheduling reporting and administrative functions through facility software.
Maintain a safe and sanitary pool environment ensuring adherence to emergency action plans and safety procedures.
Lead workplace engagement activities to enhance employee satisfaction.
Stay current on aquatics management and leadership best practices.
Perform other duties as assigned to support operational success.
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelors degree preferred.
Lifeguard CPR/AED and First Aid certification required; Shallow Water Attendant certification highly recommended.
Experience as a swimming instructor preferred.
2 years of management experience preferred.
Ability to work effectively with children and lead a team.
Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Regular exposure to heat and humidity in pool environments; moderate noise levels.
