Job Summary

Position: Part-Time / Full-Time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Are you passionate about providing exceptional care to children and families Pediatrics of Southwest Houston is looking for a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dedicated team. What Youll Do:

Diagnose and treat acute episodic and chronic illnesses in pediatric patients
Prescribe medications and treatments tailored to each patients needs
Conduct thorough and compassionate physical exams
Develop and implement patient care plans and management protocols
Coordinate referrals with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
Collaborate closely with physicians and specialists to optimize patient outcomes

What Were Looking For:

Previous experience in nursing or related medical fields ideally in pediatrics
Strong ability to build genuine rapport with children and families
Thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting with excellent multitasking skills
Outstanding communication skills both verbal and written
Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to take initiative

Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of experience in a pediatric clinical setting preferred
Solid understanding of pediatric care concepts practices and procedures
Proficient in advanced nursing skills and capable of assuming charge responsibilities
EMR (Electronic Medical Records) proficiency is required
Spanish-speaking ability is highly preferred to better serve our diverse community
