Job Description

  • Research for the available options for vendors to find the best prices available within a given market/territory
  • Cooperate with other departments/entities within the group to explore the available options for providing services in house
  • Maintain the list of available options with details per country/territory
  • Conduct meetings with potential vendors
  • Negotiate new vendor contracts and renegotiate existing vendor contracts
  • Data analysis to support decision making
  • Act as functional bridge amongst external vendors as well as internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate all vendor management tasks inclusive of working with external vendors and internal employees
  • Cooperate with Quality department to support reassessments of Vendors
  • Ensure onboarding process of new vendors is carried out as per SOPs
  • Ensure tracking measuring reporting and evaluating vendor performance is carried out
  • Initiate and/or review proposed contract modifications and negotiate or refer to other internal departments for review as appropriate
  • Track contract renewal periods
  • Support expansion across ongoing projects and explore new ways of working with vendors
  • Support with Client Audits and Inspections
  • Support all members of vendor management team

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Life Sciences or Business Management or equivalent industry experience
  • Background in CRO or a similar industry and demonstrated work experience in Contracts.
  • Working independently under time pressure to meet tight deadlines. Must be able to manage workload and prioritize activities to ensure timely completion of assignments.
  • Excellent attention to detail and proof reading to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Strong oral communication skills including communicating in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with potentially conflicting requirements.
  • Strong initiative to learn.
  • Ability to manage relationships and communicate with senior managers and directors.
  • Advanced level of English language (both spoken and written)
  • Proficiency to an advanced level in all MS-Office applications including Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint
