About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join our dedicated team. The Deputy Manager will support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the setting ensuring the highest standards of care education and safeguarding are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Nursery Manager in the overall management and leadership of the nursery.
- Support staff with planning and delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Ensure a safe nurturing and stimulating environment for children at all times.
- Supervise mentor and motivate nursery practitioners to achieve their full potential.
- Maintain accurate records in line with Ofsted safeguarding and health & safety requirements.
- Work closely with parents/carers building strong relationships and supporting childrens individual needs.
- Lead the nursery in the absence of the Manager.
- Contribute to staff recruitment inductions appraisals and ongoing training.
Requirements
- Minimum Level 3 in Childcare and Education (Level 5 desirable).
- Previous experience in a supervisory or deputy role within a nursery setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS safeguarding and Ofsted standards.
- Excellent leadership communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for providing outstanding early years education and care.
- Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the nursery.
