Job Title: Administrative Assistant Zone Support
Position Overview
The Administrative Assistant provides direct support to the Zone Director by managing essential administrative tasks coordinating communication with churches and community partners and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role requires strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple audiences including churches volunteers and internal team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Approve and process staff timesheets accurately and on time.
- Enter and approve expenses ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Assist with scheduling correspondence and document preparation for the Zone Director.
- Communications & Social Media
- Support social media engagement by drafting posts sharing stories and monitoring activity to increase awareness and engagement.
- Assist with email communications newsletters and other outreach to partners.
- Collaboration & Team Support
- Work closely with the Zone Director to identify administrative needs and provide solutions.
- Support team initiatives events and projects as needed.
- Uphold organizational values and represent the mission with professionalism and warmth.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Experience with data entry expense processing and administrative systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable using social media platforms for organizational engagement.
- Ability to build positive relationships with partners and team members.
- Previous experience in nonprofit ministry or church-related settings preferred.
