About the Role
As the Site Administrator youll be the primary on-site resource for Human Resources administration safety programs and Environmental compliance activities. This role is key to ensuring smooth day-to-day site operations while supporting both employees and leadership at the Steubenville terminal.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the terminal point of contact for HR & Safety concerns; assist in incident investigations
- Manage recruitment activities including job postings interview scheduling and onboarding support
- Conduct new hire orientations complete required paperwork and training setup
- Maintain employee files timekeeping and attendance records (Paycom experience preferred)
- Administer employee benefits: open enrollment communications and support
- Address employee relations and compliance issues with professionalism and discretion
- Implement and maintain site safety programs and OSHA compliance records
- Facilitate safety meetings toolbox talks and training sessions
- Conduct site safety inspections and audits
- Maintain environmental records and permits; monitor site practices for compliance
- Provide general administrative support to the terminal manager and site leadership (correspondence filing scheduling reporting)
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of experience in HR safety environmental compliance or site administrative roles
- Knowledge of HR best practices OSHA requirements and basic environmental compliance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with HRIS systems (Paycom strongly preferred)
- SHRM-CP PHR or relevant safety/environmental certifications a strong plus
