As a Site Safety Specialist at DN you will coordinate and oversee activities of site personnel to ensure a safe and healthy work environment in accordance with OSHA regulations at our Aiken SC project site. This person will also assist with providing safety training facilitating safety meetings and fostering a culture of safety awareness among all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and conduct pre-job meetings to address hazards associated with the job site.
Conduct safe worker observation reports and submit to the STR
Conduct and document daily safety
Work closely with Construction Management team general contractors andsubcontractors to ensure implementation of and compliance with safety policies.
Actively promote and integrate the WOW! factor safety application across projectsites to enhance safety practices and cultivate a culture of safety excellence.
Ensure compliance on jobsite with safety regulations and company policies whileproviding coaching mentoring and training to the construction team to enhancesafety awareness and practices.
Assist in safety incident investigations implement corrective actions and managethe complete injury cycle including managing hotline calls and initial triage.

Qualifications:

2 years experience in a construction safety role
OSHA 30 for construction certified
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft office
Strong interpersonal skills
OSHT IHIT CHST certifications are a plus
