Position: Technical Application Specialist
Division: Core Diagnostics
Location: Lahore
Job Summary:
The Technical Application Specialist is responsible for delivery of customer operator training and coaching in Abbott training facilities and onsite and providing on site assay implementation application support and application troubleshooting on Abbott Systems.
Major Responsibilities:
- Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements
- Deliver customer operator training in Abbott facilities or on-site
- Perform new instrument and assay implementations through Test of Record
- Perform on-site assay investigation troubleshooting and operator training and coaching
- Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction score (NPS) service key performance indicators achievement and resolution rates
- Travel extensively within the service area
Education/Knowledge & Experience:
- Bachelors degree; preferably BE/ME in Biomedical/Electrical/Mechanical
- Minimum of 4-5 years experience in relevant field
- Proven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer references
- Successful engagement with customers specifically lab staff
- Technical expert for product line responsibility
- Ability to identify and drive resolution of issues
- Strong experience in use of analytical tools and software
- Computer expertise including word processing spread sheet and database management applications
- Strong communications skills both verbal and written
