ABAP:

The opportunity

We are looking for an SAP Technical Consultant with expertise in ABAP development SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration technologies and SAP Fiori/UI5/RAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design develop and maintain custom SAP solutions using ABAP (Reports Enhancements BAPIs BADIs CDS Views) to meet business requirements.
• Develop and deploy SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and create OData services for modern user-friendly interfaces.
• Implement integration scenarios leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) and other middleware tools.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver robust solutions.
• Optimize performance and ensure compliance with SAP best practices security standards and coding guidelines.
• Support data migration activities including LSMW custom programs and API-based integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues ensuring smooth operation of custom developments and integrations.
• Stay updated on emerging SAP technologies including ABAP on HANA Fiori/UI5 enhancements and BTP services.
• Prepare technical documentation conduct unit and integration testing and support UAT.
• Advise clients on best practices for SAP technical architecture integration strategies and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Profile Requirements:

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Information Technology or a related field.

• 35 years of professional experience in SAP technical development.
• Strong hands-on experience in ABAP programming (Reports Enhancements BAPIs BADIs CDS Views).
• Experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development and creation of OData services.
• Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for extensions and integrations.
• Expertise in SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) and other middleware tools for system integration.
• Exposure to S/4HANA implementations and digital transformation projects.
• Proficiency in ABAP on HANA performance tuning and modern development practices.
• Strong understanding of integration scenarios APIs and cloud-based solutions.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology Agile delivery and DevOps concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in complex multi-country environments and deliver under tight timelines.
