About the role
Join our cardiac echo team use cutting-edge tech support expert clinicians and make a real difference for patients!
We are ideally looking for:
One sonographer available for 16 hours/week working Wednesdays and Fridays; or
Two sonographers who can work 8 hours/week available on either Wednesday or Friday.
What youll do:
Hands-on cardiac testing: Perform transthoracic & stress echos support transoesophageal echos and assist with ECGs & Holter monitoring.
Teach and lead: Share your expertise with medical students registrars nurses and international visitors.
Organise & optimise: Manage patient bookings transport and maintain equipment and departmental software.
Drive quality & innovation: Support research trials audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Variety & teamwork: Participate in on-call roster and collaborate in a high-performing multidisciplinary environment.
About you
Expert Cardiac Sonographer: Fully qualified with a Post Graduate Degree in Sonography (or equivalent) experienced in Cardiac Sonography.
Hands-on technical pro: Skilled in Transthoracic Echo and Stress Echo delivering exceptional imaging and patient care.
People-focused communicator: Outstanding written verbal and telephone skills able to build strong relationships with patients clinicians and colleagues.
Professional and trusted: Demonstrates maturity discretion flexibility and sound judgment always maintaining confidentiality.
Organised team player: Highly organised able to prioritise tasks work independently and collaborate effectively while upholding WH&S EEO cultural diversity and ethical standards.
